The northern island of Japan archipelago is similar to what we saw in sakhaline , very green, dense forest, but here, the roads are perfects and everything works .it rained all night long and my tent is completely wet as the ground was completely full of water.
We leave the campsite under heavy rains, the campsite is absolutely quiet , and it looks like a japanese garden :)..
Problem again with oil leakage with my bike, in a village I find a nice guy that bring us to a guy in a garage that loves vehicles , no way to speak but we fix the problem and extract the broken bolt easily and quickly, here everything is fast.
Very nice guy who have an old pinzgauer 6x6 and a superb cbx 6 cylinders Honda. He doesn't want any money for the help, absolutely nice people.
After 300 km of perfect highway , we stop in a small city by the coast , with absolutely silent streets ,and to be honest, a bit boring.
Finding an hotel is quite easy and we land in a local hotel typical with rooms without beds, just mattress on the floor, no shoes allowed in the place, and a lot of strange things for our eyes- electronic toilets (!!!) with heating seat and down flush to clean the butt( with warm water..)...

Petrol stations with running employees all around us.
Sushi restaurant, by the way very expensive .
17- road to the extreme south of Hokkaido , with high speed ferry crossing to the main Japan island- beautiful vessel, and always the only foreigners here.
Lots of motorbikes and I spot strange ones and beautiful oldies like theses tzr250 and z900
A country who loves bikes like that cannot be a bad country ...
